Mrs New Zealand
Zeisha Wood
Zeisha Wood is a māmā, creative, speaker, writer and product leader, and the current Mrs New Zealand and Mrs Globe New Zealand. She is passionate about helping wahine recognise their voice, own their story and create lives that feel aligned with who they truly are.
Of Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa and Ngāpuhi descent, Zeisha is grounded in her whakapapa and driven by a desire to create meaningful change - particularly by making space for voices that are too often overlooked. As a Product Owner of Buzzly, she leads a youth empowerment platform helping rangatahi have a genuine say in the social and civic issues that shape their lives.
Alongside her work in technology and rangatahi advocacy, Zeisha is an established DJ, producer, singer and writer for She Is Me Journal, where she explores identity, purpose, resilience and what it means to advocate for yourself. A breast cancer survivor, she also speaks openly about trusting your voice, knowing your worth and not waiting for permission to live intentionally.
Zeisha brings together technology, creativity, motherhood, whakapapa and lived experience to challenge the idea that we have to fit into one box. Her work is ultimately about one thing: using your voice, owning your story, and having the courage to become who you are meant to be.
